Welcome

WELCOME TO OUR WORLD!
A very warm welcome from Vince and Denise Esterman to the Esterman Ministries International blog.
For this blog, my intention will not so much be to teach, but to share the latest news, as well as to reflect on inspirational insights the Lord may put on my heart.
Firstly, let me thank Denise, my devoted wife of 47 years, for the many hours she has spent creating this website. It is a remarkable achievement when you realise that she has had no training and is self-taught, working through every problem she encounters.
Explore our Website
As you explore the website (which is still under construction), you will find many of my teaching notes on many vital subjects for the Christian life. These will be added over the coming months and can be downloaded by anyone in any context, with the requirement to acknowledge the source.
You will also find the resources we make available. The photo gallery allows you a visual panorama of our work over the 50 years of ministry and there is, of course, the possibility of contacting us personally.
Our Ministry Journey
Denise and I lived and worked in France and the French territories for 34 years, planting churches throughout the country. It was at a time when Evangelical and Pentecostal churches were seen as cults. We had to fight tooth and nail to establish and validate our Christian communities in a rather hostile climate.
The one verse of Scripture the Lord gave us to stay in the fight was:
Psalm 18:29
“For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall.”
Over that time, we ran against many troops and leapt over many walls!
When we returned to Australia in 2020, the Lord gave me a different verse that would mark the next phase of our lives. It was:
Exodus 14:13
“Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today.”
It was particularly meaningful as a “stand” would be needed, it would be done in the “stillness” of God’s presence and we would “see” the Lord work His works.

So this is where we have landed today. It’s a wonderful way to live with God – to make a stand, be still and see Him work.
