The Glen McGrath analogy is true – at a time when not much seemed to be happening at Catalyst and I lamented the situation a great pastoral friend of mine gave me the best advice possible in that season. He said, “hold your nerve – God will do the rest”, and he did. Patience is part of the fruit of the Spirit and without it no-one will be greatly successful in ministry.
